PROGRAMS

GROUP TRAINING

Crossfit’s ideology is based on constantly varied, functional movement executed at high intensity. Constantly varied means we vary the time, distance, weight and environment of the daily workouts. Functional movements are movements that you would naturally do. For example, whether we are conscious of it, we squat multiple times per day. Think about how many times per day you go from sitting down to standing up and back down. Doesn’t it make sense to train this movement so that we can maintain what is thought to be a simple standard of living? High intensity is relative to each individual member. After demonstrating a solid understanding of mechanics as well as being able to perform those mechanics with consistency we then focus on each individual’s intensity.

Crossfit is utilized by all types of people, from those fighting for our country to those fighting assisted living. The workouts are infinitely scalable. Times, rounds, weights and repetitions can all be sized to meet our members’ work capacity.

nutrition COACHING

Proper nutrition is essential to the CrossFit program and necessary to meet one’s individual fitness goals. Nutrition is the foundation on which we build our fitness performance. Whether your goal is to lose weight or gain muscle, we will help increase your results by educating you on how to properly fuel yourself through your food. No gimics, no “ fad diets”, just some hard work and nutrition plans that are tried and true.

We host 3-4 month long nutrition challenges throughout the year with prizes for the winners as an added incentive. For some individuals, changing their eating habits can prove to be very difficult, in some cases more difficult than committing to a workout routine. We have experienced great results with these challenges due to the fact that you will have fellow gym members working on similar goals right beside you helping to motivate and encourage you to see it through to the end. Some of the methods we practice and preach are known as the Paleo or Whole 30, a food quality approach to nutrition, or the Macros or Zone Diet, a food quantity approach to nutrition. Proper nutrition will not only improve your workouts and body composition, but it will give you more energy in your daily life.

PRIVATE TRAINING

Private coaching is the safest and most effective way to learn proper form and technique before graduating to our group fitness classes.  More often than not, people have a preconceived notion that CrossFit is dangerous.  The reality is that any exercise program can be dangerous if done incorrectly.

Here at CrossFit Flemington, we pride ourselves on our ability to coach and teach proper mechanics to all new and existing clientele to keep your training safe and effective.   Once clients graduate to group class, we find private coaching to be an excellent complement to our group training as it allows our coaching staff to focus on specific areas of your fitness that need the most attention to help you reach your goals faster.

Whether you are brand new to CrossFit or a seasoned vet, private coaching can help you hone your movement technique and help you get more out of your daily workouts. Private coaching can be scheduled around your availability, morning or night, seven days per week.

ON-RAMp/
Beginners program 

Looking to get started at CrossFit Flemington? Never tried CrossFit before? Not a problem! We’ll teach you everything you need to know in a 5 60-Minute Intro Sessions. Contact us here, and let us know what day/time you would like to come to the gym. From there we will pair you up with a coach that will walk you through our “No Sweat Intro” Session.

Once you sign up for our On Ramp program, you will be paired with a coach for your one on one sessions. With this coach you will cover how to warm up, how to do some of the movements that you’ll see in a daily workout, and go over all the ins & outs of what makes Crossfit Flemington special. We will help you work with any injuries or modifications. After you complete your 5 On Ramp Sessions your coach will still be in touch for the next 30 days. We will send you a Mentoring Email every night with the next days workout, advice for that workout, and a little piece of CrossFit knowledge.
